Content Editing
As a content editor, I go through your manuscript to make sure everything is sound. I check that details are correct (we don't want characters changing eye color or the spelling of their name), things make sense, the story flows, and you have the correct word usage.
I have been beta reading for ten years, and worked with other editors for eight years. I'm also in the process of getting my Masters in Creative Writing from Liberty University.
Just a few things beforehand:
I will do a free five-page edit sample. After that, we can discuss a contract. I charge $2.00 per double-spaced page, and I use the Chicago Manual of Style for grammar rules and style.

- I prefer no erotica or vulgar language. Horror is okay as long as it's not too graphic.
- Please use a few beta readers before sending your manuscript. It helps both you and me with the timeliness of getting your book back to you.
- I prefer Word for editing.
